Meet Jill
Jill spent sixteen years as the owner and manager of two Cape Cod inns, where she devoted countless hours to ironing sheets, baking muffins, plunging toilets, and trying not to laugh at outrageous guest behavior. Innkeeping was far from the romantic vision it often inspires, but Jill wouldn't trade the headaches for anything. Because where there are headaches, there are stories.
A graduate of Babson College with a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing, Jill now lives on Cape Cod with her husband and five children. When she's not writing or refereeing sibling squabbles, she officiates weddings and writes custom vows, speeches, and ceremonies.
Jill married her high school sweetheart, and together they've traveled to all fifty states and six continents. Their most meaningful adventure was to Ethiopia, where they adopted their son. In her limited spare time, Jill enjoys pairing her husband's fantastic cooking with a good bottle of wine. If there were more hours in the day, she'd love to learn to sail—even though, with her sense of direction, she'd probably end up hopelessly lost at sea.

"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect."
