Meet Jill

Behind the Words

Jill Meyer is grew up in New Jersey, but has spent most of her adult life as a “wash-ashore” on Cape Cod where she and her husband devoted sixteen years to owning and managing a AAA Four Diamond inn. She has also lived in California, Pennsylvania, Boston, and Colorado. Prior to her days as a twenty-something nomad, she earned a degree in marketing and entrepreneurial studies at Babson College. Shortly thereafter, she married her high school sweetheart and together, they have traveled to 49 states and 4 continents. Jill is currently a novelist as well as a wedding officiant, helping couples write personal vows, wedding speeches, and customized ceremonies. She and her husband have five children including a set of twins as the grand finale. Adoption has a special place in Jill’s heart as her middle child and only son was adopted from Ethiopia. Her next dream is to one day take her family there to see, first-hand, her son’s roots. She also hopes to vacation to Alaska, the only state she has yet to visit.
